Kagoshima Horiguchi Tea Company, in collaboration with Tokyo University of Agriculture, Tomizawa Farm, Horiguchi Coffee Co., Local Food Cycling, and Daiichi Progress, Inc. will start a demonstration recycling project to compost coffee grounds for use in agricultural production.
This project aims to be a model case for resource recycling in the local community while reducing the disposal of coffee grounds.
